Why The Secrecy?
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Holy Bible, Matthew, 13:44 KJV
Men bury treasure to hide it from thieves and warily preserve its secret location, because the nefarious squander riches on riotous behaviour, warfare, and debauchery, whereas the wise use their wealth to propagate knowledge of the Kingdom of Heaven.
But further questions arise from this parable.
