Does God Keep His Word?

If God has NOT kept His words; Both His written words, and His Living Word, then don’t trust Him.

Why?

Because if He’s not, then He can’t keep you… or anyone, can He?

It’s a simple matter of integrity.

Sinners inevitably fail their own words.

Saved people, the righteous, do a little better, but too often one’s carnal nature gets the upper hand.

But God’s Words Never Fail

Almighty God always keeps His word, He always has, and always will.

You can bank on it.

Humanity is Utter Failure

You’ve discovered that you can’t trust anybody to do what they say, and certainly not what they “sincerely promise” to do.

This is so self-evident, to adults, that Father God has even banned His offspring from making any promise, Holy Bible, James 5:12 KJV;

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

If someone insists you make a promise, or swear an oath, be certain they are of the Devil, and self-condemned.

Hence, all national governments lie, cheat their subjects, and demand allegiance.

Human friendships endure only until the sinful nature exerts itself.

Marriage vows are broken within hours, and marriage is being phased out of fashion because of serial failure.

Then came the demoralising time you discovered your innate corruption, just like the Apostle Peter when he boldly declared his faithfulness to Christ… then promptly denied Him three times a few hours later.

Ouch!

You’ve felt such disgrace, haven’t you?

If not, you will, and the sooner the better, to develop humility.

So it’s not surprising that the world mocks when we share the Gospel with them.

A minister friend has almost given up evangelizing because of the negative response he sees from young people today.

He’s wrong to be disheartened: Only believe!

I too was a scoffer as the LORD sent a stream of gutsy (mostly women) Christians across my path, sharing His love and message. Each one was dismayed at my rejection of their perfect witness at the time, but look at me now.

Oh how I thank Father God that He did not quit on this blind rebel, but turned the other cheek, as I plucked at His beard.

Thank you brave Christians for obeying Father by risking talking to me when I was dead in my sins.

Such Mercy!

Almighty God has pledged to preserve His written words in a book.
And He has in the English KJV.

Exodus 17:14,24:7, Deut.28:58,30:10,31:24, Josh.1:8, 2 Ki.22:13, Is. 29:18,34:16, Jer. 30:2, Ps. 12:6-7, Mtt. 24:35, Mk. 13:31, Lk. 21:33.

How can any Christian have confidence in an Almighty God who’s stated that He’d preserve His written words in a book, and then requires money-grubbing, infidel “scholars” to determine which are His words?

He’s not Almighty if He can’t do that simple thing, is He?

He’d be foot-shuffling like Peter was at Christ’s beach barbeque. Jn. Ch.21.

Sin does that to the human heart, but God’s different: He’s The Redeemer, He forgives, lifts, and puts us where He originally intended us to be.

Find out for yourself if God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and keeps His words. Jn. 7:14-19 KJV;

Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

Here we have the Christ, Almighty God manifested in the Flesh, declaring as fact, that if anybody does His Father’s will, that person will discover immediately that the source is divine, not human.

What is Father’s will? Jn. 3:14-18 KJV;

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Your Creator wants you to trust in His Living Word: The LORD Jesus Christ: That He paid your sin debt once and for all, that He was without sin of His own, but took your guilt and sin upon Himself, was crucified and died in your stead, and went to Hell in your place.

Once the sin of the world was atoned for through His Precious Blood, He arose from the dead victorious to show He had no sin of His own, that your sins are redeemed, and so you can come back to your Maker as though you’d never sinned: How?

By believing wholeheartedly in the LORD Jesus Christ.

Do that now, with a sincere heart, and you’ll discover the power of God’s words, that they are divine, absolute truth, and never fail.

Once you’ve had that revelation from Your Maker, you’ll know the Truth, and the The Truth will keep you free.

Free of doubt, free of sin, free of fear, and free from Satan’s power.
