Q: Psalm 23 ends with the phrase, Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, but wouldn’t it make more sense if David wrote, Surely goodness and mercy shall lead me all the days of my life? Otherwise it reads as if David was leading God, instead of following Him.
