Q: Can Satan understand what we are saying when speaking in tongues, or is the understanding strictly for God, and does Scripture substantiate this either way?
A: Neither Satan, nor demons, can understand when a person prays, or speaks, in genuine tongues. Tongues are the languages of angels, not demons, who are fallen angels. They forfeited their right to be in God’s Presence, and to know His mysteries. 1 Co. 13:1, Lk. 10:18, Rev. 12:7-9.

The Roman Catholic Mass is an abomination, blasphemy against the Blood, Body, and finished work of Christ: Idolatry of the worst kind. It is an idol based on Baal worship, detestable to God, and has no Scriptural basis, as was made perfectly clear in John Knox’s historic denunciation, Why the Mass is Idolatry.

Q: I have read, in your answers to other questions, that there is no such thing as a contradiction in the Bible. I accept that. But what about revisions?
In Matthew 12:1-8, disciples of Jesus take corn from the field on the Sabbath. The Pharisees condemn them, but Jesus says, But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
But in the Old Testament, there are numerous passages, such as Exodus 31:14, which say that one who breaks the Sabbath must be put to death: You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.
Can then, parts of the Old Testament be considered to have been revised by the teachings of Christ? Chris

God’s word commands us to be strong in Him, and in His almighty power.
To be weak in Him, and His power, is rebellion.
Obeying His command to be strong in Him, and His power, is humility.
To be strong, you humbly accept God’s word as your authority, believe it in your heart, confess it as true, and obey it.
Weakness comes from rejecting God’s authority by denying His word, and disobeying it.

Q: What is meant by lasciviousness in Galatians 5:19; Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness…?
A: The 1908 Oxford English Dictionary defines Lascivious, Lasciviousness as; “Inclined to lust, lewd, wanton. Inciting to lust or wantonness.”

Q: My Church teaches that we have to wait to go to Heaven to receive healing, because Rom. 8:23 says that believers are waiting for the redemption of our bodies. So healing isn’t for every believer. Is this correct?
A: Certainly not. That’s a common denominational false-teaching, based on ignorance of God’s Word, that robs gullible Christians of faith in their Blood-bought inheritance.

New Zealand voters have approved human euthanasia in a recent referendum.
