Q: How do I cope with being called names for being a Christian?
A: Treat them as medals and badges of honour that mark you out as a real believer.
If a Christian is not being abused, and called unpleasant names, by the world because of her stand for Christ, then she isn’t doing her duty.
The time to be worried is when the world loves and praises you as a Christian.

God longs to be permitted to rule in us.

First, absorb the background to Gen. 25:19-34 by reading Gen. Chs. 27 and 28 in the KJV Holy Bible. Then you’ll see the significance of this incident between two slippery twin-brothers.
In this first scripture, the charming English expression, sod pottage, means boiling up a stew, Gen. 25:29-34 KJV;
And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

Please read John chapter six in the Holy Bible, especially noting Jn. 6:63b KJV;
The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
“Spirit” can be capitalised because it refers to God the Holy Spirit, and the two words “they”, added by the KJV translators, are not present in the Greek Textus Receptus. Significantly, William Tyndale did not include them in his 1534 translation, because they are not strictly necessary. The statement is more powerful and forthright without the additional words.

Q: My Aunt stole all my Grandmother’s money and left her destitute at the end of her life. It was quite a large sum, but my Grandmother was too embarrassed to report it.
The problem is that my Mother says that we need to include this relative in our family functions because Jesus tells us to love our enemies.
I am not certain what to do, because I honestly do not feel unforgiveness toward her, yet I don’t wish to share company with her. She is not the least bit repentant, and is very untrustworthy. I do believe that I am commanded to love my enemies (and that of my Grandmother), but does that mean that I have to entertain them in my home? Angela

Q: Thirty years ago I received the Baptism in the Holy Ghost. It was a great desire fulfilled, a supernatural experience that I will always treasure. However, since that day, in meetings, or in private, it has never seemed supernatural like that first time.
