Cleanseth Us From All Sin
What a perfect way to begin a letter…
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:1-10 KJV
God Manifested in The Flesh
Our Creator has come to Earth, and manifested Himself bodily to mortal men.
The Word of Life became one of us; flesh, bone, and Blood, born of woman, born under Law, tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:12-16 KJV;
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
The Apostle John lived with Christ, journeyed and ate with Him, evangelized with Him, held Him, and lay on His Breast at supper.
You and I can do that too, by simply walking in the light of His written word.
It is Heaven on Earth
What we were created for.
Fellowship With God, Peace, and Righteousness
As we do so, we discover that God alone is good, and have the spiritual joy of honouring His written words: Complete fellowship with our Heavenly Father, and the peace that comes because the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
No mere human being can bestow such blessing: Only God manifested in The Flesh, the LORD Jesus Christ.
Sinners Have No Truth in Them
There are those who deny the existence of sin, and define what righteousness is from their own imaginations: Suchlike are liars, deceiving themselves and others, who walk in darkness and perish in sin whilst claiming they have not sinned: They have no truth in them.
How To Become A Saint and Child of God
But for the believer who’s recognized his sinful nature, and called on Christ for mercy, there’s forgiveness, total cleansing, and perfect righteousness, imputed by the Grace of God.
Set Free From Sin To Walk in The Light
Let’s walk in the light that Father offers us and rejoice alway that we have been cleansed of all sin, and all unrighteousness.
If you have not yet been Born of God, and cleansed by His Precious Blood, this article will be a mystery to you, but take heart, you can respond to the Good News of Christ today, and begin to walk in His light.
What Good News?
The good news that even while we were yet sinners, God came in Christ, and died for our sins, bore your guilt and mine, was judged with the divine judgment we deserve, and went to Hell in our place.
Why?
Because God had said the one who sins must die and be banished forever from His Presence.
So what?
So by taking our place, and bearing the punishment we each deserve, Our Creator can legally acquit us from every accusation, providing we repent from unbelief and believe on Christ The LORD.
The good news that Christ rose from His tomb on the third day, just as He promised, and Holy Scripture foretold He would.
Why?
To prove that He is Almighty God in The Flesh, that He had no sin of His own, therefore all our sin and unrighteousness has been dealt with once and for all.
So what?
So turn from religion, repent of your sin, and trust that The LORD Jesus Christ has paid for your guilt before Father God.
The good news that The Holy One thought you were precious enough for Him to lay down His sinless life to bring back into God’s ever-loving arms forever.
Why?
Because He created you, you are His idea, God loves you with perfect love. He designed you for His love. Love wants the very best for you; God’s peace, God’s Love, God’s righteousness and God’s eternal life.
So what?
So turn to God and thank Him that He thinks you are worth the life of His Only Begotten Son, and Receive Christ as your LORD and Saviour with all your heart.
The good news that Christ not only bore our guilt and sin, but also our diseases and infirmities.
Why?
So that as you put your faith in Him into action, you can be healed and delivered from infirmity.
So what?
So accept those Gospel facts by faith, and receive your healing and deliverance from Christ, just as people did in Bible days.
