Perilous Times
Self-idolisation, depression, and self-murder will become commonplace as the Final Day approaches. Christians are warned to be ready, and told how to deal with it, 2 Tim. 3:1-9 KJV;

Deluded and Damned

You Have Been Redeemed
Q: Why do I need to be saved when you say I’m redeemed already whether I believe in Christ or not; what’s the difference?
A: Thank you for that thoughtful question which proves the LORD is working in your life. It’s not the sort of question asked by people content in sin.
They Are Not The Same
Every person born of woman has indeed been redeemed already whether they believe on Christ or not, but it is only when they Repent of Unbelief in Christ, and Believe on Him as LORD that they can be born of God: Saved.
In A Nutshell
Redemption is what God has accomplished for everyone through Christ The LORD 2,000 years ago.
Believers receive salvation the instant they believe on Christ and repent from unbelief in Him.
I distinctly recall the first time I contemplated biblical redemption, it was at an Easter Christian convention in Yorkshire, UK, not long after I was saved in New Zealand.
The preacher mentioned that Christians have been redeemed, which at the time I supposed meant saved.

Well, I knew what salvation was because I’d recently experienced the power of the New Birth, but I was clueless on redemption.
So I sought the LORD, and He helped me understand the huge difference between them.
Ask the LORD to help you now, and He will if you’re serious about walking with Him.

Matthew 25 is seldom mentioned in fellowships today, which is odd because it is The LORD Jesus Christ speaking eternal truth, with direct relevance considering the forthcoming Judgment when He returns.

Hearing The Word of God

That sounds like the spontaneous cry of a godly Grandmother to me. One so thrilled by what she heard her spirit welled up and cried out;
Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
It beats a routine Amen Brother! doesn’t it?
And she was right, Christ returned a resounding, “Yea“.
I’m sure He was tickled by her bold maternal heart, just as we are.
Do they shout encouragement to the preacher in your fellowship? Or would such behaviour be “out of place”?
God in the Flesh didn’t mind.
He endorsed it.

Q: I heard a preacher comment that because the Bible says the outward man perishes then our bodies are not redeemed. Is that correct?
A: Absolutely not!
I’m sorry to say that I’ve even heard a leading Spirit-filled full Gospel preacher make the same blunder, (perhaps the preacher you heard) but of course it’s plainly a wrong teaching.
